OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Federal prosecutors in Oklahoma say three Oklahomans, five people from Colorado and one from Illinois have been charged with conspiracy to harvest marijuana in Colorado for distribution in Oklahoma and other states.
U.S. Attorney Sanford Coats in Oklahoma City announced the charges Thursday.
The nine allegedly conspired to harvest more than 100 kilograms of marijuana in Colorado and distribute it to Oklahoma and elsewhere.
Colorado voters approved the recreational use of marijuana in 2012.
